For over a decade, I photographed for the great houses of Italian fashion, like Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana. Building images for campaigns, not for people.
I wanted the opposite: real moments, in real lives, that would never happen twice.
So I turned that eye toward the city I've always called home, Venice.
For over fifteen centuries, millions of souls have passed through Venice,
each carrying their own moment of wonder, their own quiet story.
AURA Venice was born to catch some of those moments before they fade, and return them as something eternal. So that Venice never truly leaves the people it has touched.
